Cruises in Brazil - discover the ships for the 2024/2025 season

For those who like to plan a trip in advance, this is great news: the next cruise season in Brazil is already scheduled and we will have the presence of seven ships with regular departures from Brazilian ports.

The 2024/2025 season runs from November this year to April 2025. MSC Cruises and Costa Cruises arrive with seven ships. We will also have the presence of other vessels, but these are occasional cruises and are not part of the regular season, with only quick passages through the country.

For the 2024/2025 cruise season in Brazil, MSC arrives with four ships for regular voyages: MSC Grandiosa, MSC Seaview, MSC Orchestra and MSC Armonia. Costa Cruzeiros will be in Brazil with three vessels: Costa Diadema, Costa Pacífica and Costa Favolosa.

MSC Seaview

MSC Cruzeiros opens the 24/25 Brazilian cruise season with MSC Seaview, the first ship to carry out regular cruises in the country. The inaugural voyage will be on November 12th, with a four-night cruise that departs from Santos and stops in Big Island It is Buzios before returning to the coast of São Paulo.

The ship has different swimming pools, the famous stairs with Swarovski crystals, a casino, theater, spa, bowling alley and many other attractions for the enjoyment of adults and children.

MSC Seaview will offer mini-cruises of 3 to 5 nights in this new season, with departures in Santos, and alternating visits to Búzios, Ilha Grande, Rio de Janeiro, Balneário Camboriú and Porto Belo. There will also be two 7-night itinerary options: visiting savior, Ilhéus and Rio de Janeiro; and another destined for Montevideoin Uruguay, and Buenos Aires, in Argentina.

MSC Orchestra

One of MSC's new features for the cruise season in Brazil in 2024/2025 is the presence of the MSC Orchestra, which begins its voyages on November 30th.

The ship will embark in Rio de Janeiro for mini cruises lasting 3 to 5 nights, visiting Beautiful island, Ilha Grande, Búzios, Ilhéus and Salvador, as well as 6 and 7 night itineraries, passing through Salvador, Ilhéus Búzios and Ilha Grande. MSC Orchestra will also have an 8-night international cruise with passages in Buenos Aires, Punta Del Este and Montevideo.

MSC Grandiosa

After debuting in Brazilian seas in the 2023/2024 season, MSC Grandiosa returns to the country for another season and with the title of largest cruise ship to pass through Brazil.

With capacity for 6,300 guests, MSC Grandiosa makes its first voyage of the new season on December 7th. For around four months, it will have itineraries of 3 to 8 nights leaving Santos heading to the Northeast and other stops, such as Ilha Grande and Búzios.

MSC Armonia

The last MSC Cruises ship to begin its regular season in Brazil is MSC Armonia, whose first voyage is scheduled to begin on December 13th. It will mainly have sailings in the south of the country, in Itajaí and Paranaguá, with national cruises and also to Punta del Este and Buenos Aires, but it will also have cruises departing from Santos.

Pacific Coast

The first Costa Cruises ship to arrive in Brazil is the Costa Pacífica, which will make its maiden voyage in the new season on November 22nd. The vessel will have 3 to 5 night mini cruises departing from Santos and also 7 night cruises departing from Rio de Janeiro and Santos. The itinerary includes stops in Ilhabela, Porto Belo, Balneário Camboriú and Angra dos Reis.

Costa Diadema

The Costa Diadema is already a well-known ship among Brazilians and will be in its third season in South America. Its first voyage will be on December 15, on a six-night cruise from Salvador to Santos. But he also has other itineraries, from two to seven nights and with itineraries only in Brazil and also in Argentina and Uruguay.

Costa Favolosa

Costa Favolosa is another Costa Cruises ship returning to Brazil in the 2024/2025 season.
