Five Brazilian parks secured a place in the ranking of the 25 best water and amusement parks in the world in 2024, published by the TripAdvisor platform!
Always eagerly awaited, the annual award Travelers' Choice — Best of the Best is based on public evaluations over 12 months. In the top 10, we find different types of amusement and water parks from various parts of the world – in fact, there are new additions to the 2023 list.

10th – Dollywood Pigeon Forge, Tennessee
After growing up in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee, singer Dolly Parton had the idea to build Dollywood. With a homey atmosphere and a museum dedicated to the life of the founding artist, the place stands out for its high-speed roller coasters and other thrilling activities.
9th – Walt Disney Studios Park (Marne-la-Vallee, France)
Next to Disneyland Paris is the Walt Disney Studios Park, which comes in 9th place in the award. The park receives an average of 5 million visitors per year. Despite being smaller, it is also divided into five themed areas: Front Lot, Production Courtyard, Toon Studio, Marvel Avengers Headquarters and World of Pixar. Soon the park will gain a Frozen themed area.

8th – Alton Towers Resort (Alton, United Kingdom)
In 8th place was the largest theme park in the UK, Alton Towers Resort, in Staffordshire. The park has over 40 rides and attractions, a water park and mini golf. Visitors can also enjoy one of the park's three themed hotels to further enhance their experience.
7th – Le Puy du Fou Les (Epesses, France)
Disney Paris may even be the best theme park in the world France (at least for us tourists), but Le Puy du Fou park also stood out in the TripAdvisor awards! With more than 40 years of tradition, the attraction is known for its presentations and shows.
6th – Beach Park (Aquiraz, Brazil)
Sixth place on the list of the best parks in the world went to another Brazilian, the Beach Park water park, in Aquiraz, Ceará. Close to Strengthit has an incredible structure and offers extreme water slides for those who want an adrenaline rush, as well as swimming pools and quiet attractions for those who want to relax.

5th – Waterbom Bali (Kuta, Indonesia)
Another water park among the best in the world, now in Indonesia. Waterbom Bali opened in 1993 and during its construction, more than 50% of the area's local vegetation was conserved – the park's attractions were built around the existing flora and fauna.
4th – Beto Carrero World (Penha, Brazil)
Located in Penha, on the north coast of Santa Catarina, Beto Carrero World was voted the best park in Brazil (once again) and the fourth in the world. The largest park in Latin America, Beto Carrero is located in an area of 14 million square meters, with several toys and attractions for the whole family!

3rd – Ferrari World Abu Dhabi (Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates)
The Ferrari theme park in Abu Dhabi has moved up one position and won third place as the best park in the world in the TripAdvisor award. Opened in 2010, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi is an entirely indoor park and, in addition to having the fastest roller coaster in the world, with a speed of 240 km/h, it also has an exhibition of several Formula 1 cars.
2nd – Siam Park (Tenerife, Spain)
After winning the 2023 ranking, Siam Park came in second place in the 2024 edition. Located in Tenerife, Spain. This water park opened in 2008 and has Thai-inspired decor and has received the best reviews from visitors on the TripAdvisor platform.
The park has attractions aimed at visitors of all ages, from more extreme water slides, a wave pool and the 'Lost City', the special area for children.
1st – Disneyland Paris (Marne-la-Vallee, France)
The title of best amusement park in the world went to the enchanting Disneyland Paris!
The theme park is part of the Disney Paris complex and was founded in 1992, under the name Euro Disney Resort. With an average of 10 million visitors per year (the Magic Kingdom in Orlando has 20 million/year), it is divided into five thematic areas:
- Adventureland
- Discoveryland
- Fantasyland
- Frontierland
- Main Street USA

Three other Brazilian parks made the list of the 25 best in the Travelers' Choice 2024 Award — Best of the Best by TripAdvisor.
Parque Terra Mágica Florybal – 18th place
Traditional chocolate brand LawnFlorybal gained a theme park in Canela – and Terra Mágica Florybal was elected the 18th best park in the world (the park was ranked 13th in the previous edition).
In a large space surrounded by nature, the park offers a fantastic world with fairies, dinosaurs, a medieval castle and wizards, as well as various rides, a 7D cinema and artistic performances. Tickets can be booked online!
Nautical Beach Club (Caldas Novas, Goiás) – 21st place
O Nautical Beach Cluba park in the Privé chain, is located on the banks of the Corumbá dam and is one of the options for those who want to enjoy the swimming pools Caldas Novasin Goiás. With a modest and well-preserved structure, the place had not appeared in the previous ranking and, in this edition, it achieved 21st place.
As part of the world's largest hot water aquifer, the club features water slides, a wave pool, children's areas, a wet bar and a lake with water sports.
Alpen Park (Canela, Rio Grande do Sul) – 24th place
Alpen Park barely secured a spot on the world list! The amusement park Cinnamon It is located in a large green area and offers various types of activities: zip lines, tree climbing, simulator, 4D cinema, sledding, roller coaster, quad bike ride, among others.
