Where is Disney?

1. Disneyland California
A Disneyland California is in the city of Anaheim, about 30 km from Los Angeles, and was the first Disney park to open in history. Opened in 1955, it is the only project that founder Walt Disney ever saw come to fruition and work, as he died in 1966.
The Disneyland California complex has two theme parks: Disneyland and California Adventure Park, the latter with themed attractions focused on the history and culture of the Californian state.
2. Walt Disney World Resort

The place is inspired by Disneyland California, which was the first to be opened, but its castle is reminiscent of the Magic Kingdom in Orlando. The areas in which visitors pass resemble places from Californian Disney, but they also have a bit of Japanese tradition and culture.

4. Disneyland Paris
The only Disney in Europe for now is Disneyland Paris. Opened in 1992, it was formerly known as “EuroDisney”, but for years this name has no longer been used to refer to the place. There are two theme parks there: Disneyland, where Sleeping Beauty Castle is located, and Walt Disney Studios, with a French version of some of Orlando's famous attractions.

5. Hong Kong Disneyland
Hong Kong Disneyland opened in 2005 and is the second park built by Disney on the Asian continent. It is located in Penny Bay, on the Chinese island of Lantau, and is divided into some areas: Main Street USA; Fantasyland; Adventureland; Tomorrowland; Grizzly Gulch; Mystic Point and Toy Story Land.
Among the differences, there are classic Disneyland elements, but with a mix of Chinese traditions and cultures. Because it is smaller compared to other parks, visitors consequently find fewer attractions than other complexes.

6. Shanghai Disney Resort
This is the last Disney park that was launched, being the newest of all! The Shanghai Disney Resort opened in 2016 and is located in Pudong, in the Shanghai region, in mainland China. In total, there are 47 themed attractions at the resort, and the property is twice the size of Disney California!
There is only one park there, and a very interesting fact is that its castle is the tallest of all the complexes in the world, in addition to representing all the Disney princesses!
